Our Trip To Occombe Farm

Yesterday we took a trip to Occombe Farm in Paignton (Devon), Bethany has been asking for a few weeks if she could go to the farm to see some Moo Cows! So while the Sun was shining off we went.
Occombe farm is free to get in and has a lot to offer, we watched the sheep being sheered! Saw Chickens, Alpacas, Goats, Quails, Pigs, Ducks, and of course the Moo Cows!

Bethany took her Trike and my little brother Tom took his scooter so we could go for a walk around one of the farms nature trails.

Looking at the stream

Bethany did really well with her trike and pedalled nearly the whole way round (with a little help and a few pushes when stuck from mummy).
The nature trail offered some beautiful views of the countryside.

Occombe farm also has its very own farm shop where you can pick up local produce, and also a local butchers. It also has a great Café which serves lovely food offering a carvery on a Sunday too.

There is a play park for kids to play in, Vegetable Garden, Wartime Garden, Visitors Centre and a Cookery School!
Overall we had a fantastic day, you can easily spend a few hours at Occombe farm and its a great free day out!
