Yesterday was Bank Holiday Monday and the Weather was Sunny here in Devon so we decided to take Bethany to one of the local attractions down here, Pennywell Farm.
We booked our tickets online as they had an online deal with every children's ticket purchased you get a £5 voucher to spend in the gift shop, which with Bethany is great as she always likes to go in the gift shop on the way out!
When we got there we didn't have to wait very long to get in as we arrived just before lunchtime. They asked Bethany her name and age and then gave her a little name tag.
Pennywell Farm has lots to offer, Bethany held a Mouse, Duckling and Miniature Pig. There were loads of Animals you could hold throughout the day too.
After holding some Animals we went to the café to have some lunch. We decided to sit outside as the weather was so nice and Bethany could then play in the park area.
The food was really nice and they had a good variety on the menu, including a good variety of children's meals too.
After some lunch, Bethany and Daddy went on the Rainbow Railway! Bethany loved this and I could hear her giggling and squealing the whole way round!
Unfortunately there were a few rides that Bethany was a little too young to go on, but there were still plenty of things she could do. She went on the tractors in the tractor village.
We also went on a Tractor and Trailer ride which was great fun. Unfortunately when we got there at lunchtime all the Pony rides were fully booked so Bethany didn't get to ride a real pony, but we did find a pony ride she could go on!
And I think from her facial expression she thoroughly enjoyed it.
There were lots of Trampolines scatter around different parts of the farm for children to play on.
While Bethany and Daddy tackled the Willow Maze I sat and enjoyed the beautiful countryside and surrounding views.
There were lots of Animals to feed including Sheep, Goats, Ducks, Turkeys, and Rams.
This was Bethany's first time feeding the Animals and she really enjoyed it and wasn't very impressed when we ran out of food!
These are just the few of the things we got up to at Pennywell Farm, There's so much more to do including, Pond dipping, Assault Course, Falconry Display, Bottle Feeding, Miniature Pig Racing, Meet the Hedgehogs and loads more!
On our way out Bethany picked up a lovely Red Tractor and has spent most of this afternoon playing with it!
