Recently we were sent a Super Oat Flapjack mix from Sweet Pea Pantry.
"Full of goodness with all natural and super ingredients like whole-grain flours, oats, quinoa, chia and flax, Sweetpea Pantry's mixes make baking at home easy, delicious and fun. With all dry ingredients included you'll be the star baker in 1, 2, 3! Choose from biscuits, pizza or pancakes".
Sweetpea Pantry sell a range of Bake-at-home mixes with super foods.
The superfood included in our Super Oat Flap jack was Quinoa - This is a complete protein, with all the essential amino acids needed for growing and repairing body tissues.
The Sweetpea mixes are ready prepared dry mixes for kids to bake.
When we received our Super Oat Flapjack mix Bethany was very eager to bake it. All we had to add was butter and honey, everything else was provided in the very pretty box, which meant we didn't have to go to the shops and buy anything special to make it which is great!

So we melted the butter, put the mix into the bowl and added the honey. Then a good old stir and it was ready to go into the oven, So simple and easy for kids to follow (with a little help from an adult for the oven use)!
The Super Oat Flapjack only took 20 minutes to cook. It smelt so yummy while cooking too.
Once it was cooked we waited for it to cool a little before cutting it into 25 squares, then left it to cool completely before tasting it.
The Super Oat Flapjack tasted fantastic, Bethany loved baking it and she definitely loved eating it. It didn't last very long in our house!
