January Degustabox Review & Discount Code!

January's Degustabox review is a little late this month i'm afraid. This month has been crazy and hectic with the sale of our house.
But here we are, our review of the fantastic Degustabox for the month of January.
The latest Degustabox is called the "January Healthy Box". and it's still full of interesting and yummy products from a selection of different brands - healthy doesn't mean boring.
If you haven't seen my previous posts, Degustabox is monthly foodie subscription service that is guaranteed to be filled with a mix of foodie surprises from new and already established brands.
Little Miracles Organic Teas

We have tried some of the Little Miracles Range before from a previous Degustabox. Little Miracles is a blend of organic tea, juice, and ginseng drinks that are sweetened with agave. They are free from artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners. We received two Little Miracles drinks in the January Degustabox, a White Tea with Cherry and a Black Tea with Peach, both very yummy and refreshing.

Finn Crisp Original
These are great and I can even use them on Slimming World as I healthy B I was really very impressed. The Finn Crisp Sourdough Rye Crispbreads have only 22 calories per slice and are made from wholegrain natural ingredients, making them rich in fibre, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, and low in fat.
Simplee Aloe
This is a blend of aloe vera and grape juice which is made used ethically sourced ingredients without any artificial colours or flavourings. Each 330ml "Grab & Go" carton has less calories than an apple. I've never tried aloe drinks before so it did taste a little odd, I can't really say if I enjoyed it or not, to be honest I don't think its really my thing, but each to their own. Available at Sainsbury's.
Koko Dairy Free
Koko is an alternative to dairy milk made from freshly pressed coconut milk. It contains fewer calories than skimmed milk, and has 0% cholesterol. I have never gone dairy free, this is new for me, I actually really enjoyed it and think I will be buying this in the future, Bethany even liked it which is definitely a plus.
Alfa One Rice Bran Oil
This is a versatile cooking oil which is full of natural antioxidants such as Vitamin E. It contains a naturally occurring plant sterol, Gamma Oryzanol, which has been shown to reduce cholesterol absorption. I haven't got round to trying this out yet, but I will be testing it out soon.
Kabuto Noodles
I've been eyeing up the Kabuto Noodles range in the supermarket for a while but never been brave enough to pick them up. so I was delighted to find a pot in the Degustabox. Kabuto Noodles are made with authentic Asian flavours and quality ingredients. I received the Chicken Ramen flavour, I haven't got round to trying them out yet but will update as soon as I do.
Haywards Piccalilli
I have never tried Piccalilli, this was my first time. The flavours were incredibly strong and i'm not sure about the texture, however if it was a little less chunky I would have enjoyed it more than I did. Ben loves Piccalilli and he certainly enjoyed this. recommended for sandwiches, burgers and BBQs.
Magners Light Orchard Berries
The premium Irish Cider brand has launched a new range of fruity flavours for its low calorie cider range; Magners Light. At 103 calories per bottle, Orchard Berries Light is the first new flavour to be released, excited for more new flavours. I really enjoyed this.
Mornflakes Top Porridge Pots
This has to be my favourite thing we received this month. I had the Golden Syrup flavoured one and it was amazing, so simple to make, just peel back the lid, add boiling water, stir your sachet in and its ready.
Ben had the Nutella flavoured pot and said it was really nice, a real treat - chocolate flavoured porridge. These are a massive hit in our household and I have already bought more. Definitely a great grab and go breakfast in the morning.
Available at Waitrose.
Sukrin Free From Cake Mix
This free-from versatile cake mix helps you make your favourite cakes without sugar and flour. Using the mix as a base, it’s simple to make cakes for everyone to enjoy. The mix contains sesame flour and Fibrefine instead of wheat flour, and they have replaced the sugar with Sukrin. I think this is a great idea. I haven't had the time to bake it yet, but I will certainly be posting about it when I do, so keep your eyes peeled.
Clipper Green Tea
Included in this months Degustabox was a special free gift, a sample pack of 10 bags of Clipper Fairtrade Green Tea with Lemon. I have had these before and they are really nice, they help to get rid of any water retention which is handy.
Overall i was very impressed with this months "Healthy" Degustabox.
