Octonauts Live - Review!

Sound the Octo Alert!
We recently went to see Octonauts and the deep sea volcano adventure Live on stage, to say it was fantastic was an understatement.
Bethany was extremely excited, we decided to make a day of it, so first we went for lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Plymouth Pavilion to catch the show.
Bethany absolutely loved the show (I did too), she was totally glued throughout.  The makers of the show did a really good job of translating the CBeebies version it to a stage show.
The Octopod set was true to the cartoon giving it a real authenticity. Bethany joined in with all the fun songs and enjoyed saying "ey ey captain".
The costumes were amazing and looked exactly like the team! We picked up a cool light windmill on the way in with captain barnacles inside and Beth loved using this throughout the show too, and it made a great souvenir.
I thought it was really good that they had an interval in the show to keep little ones minds from wandering and keeping their attention. It also gave Bethany a chance to go to the loo and stock up on snacks and juice!
Unfortunately we couldn't take any pictures of the show, however we can vouch for how amazing it is.
The show is touring until July this year and tickets are selling fast, so if you want to see if the Octopod is making a stop near you, you can check out and buy tickets here.
